The idea for these pieces came from an old lead planter from the National Trust gardens at Anglesey Abbey. There, planted in pairs with box ‘eggs’, they flank three entrances to the herbaceous garden. The Giant Egg Cup – in imitation of the Anglesey Abbey ones – carries a different motif on each quarter; oak, grapes, pears and roses.
