The astonishing gardens at The Newt in Somerset have been completely redesigned by Patrice Taravella. The presence of amphibians caused so much rethinking that the newt became the emblem of not only the garden but also the house. Bulbeck cast several newts in lead, created and modelled by Coade Ltd.
